There should be a way to play a video online and be able to have 2 versions, the long, uninterrupted timeline and another for only main points without elaborating too much.
I’d think setting cue points or anchors that force the jumps and automate?
Also may be useful to double speed or slow in trivial or complex explanations as others have flagged
